After putting on my first pair of glasses and walking home seeing the leaves on trees and details so clearly in the distance I knew I wanted to help others to see their best and feel that great joy. Today I take great joy in helping patients obtain their best vision and overcome eye diseases to not let their vision be a limitation to their success.

In middle school I decided I wanted to become a doctor so I could combine my love of science, learning and helping others. It was my own experience with my childhood optometrist that influenced me to become an optometrist. I always looked forward to my own eye exams and talking and learning about eye health from him.
Today it is the personal connections and time I have with patients I look forward to; I enjoy helping patients overcome problems, preserve their eye health and teaching them about their eye health.

Growing up in a family of dentists, my fascination with eyes was a bit unconventional. With my family’s encouragement, I dove into the world of optometry, discovering how I could profoundly impact lives by helping people see clearly and manage eye diseases.
The highlight of my career has always been witnessing the moment when a patient realizes there’s hope for the eye health issues they’ve been facing. It’s truly rewarding to see someone experience visually, for the first time, all the things they didn’t even know they were missing.
