As a native to Stoughton, she is excited to return home with her clinical expertise to provide quality eye care to Stoughton and surrounding communities.Dr. Skjolaas has a Bachelors of Science in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry. During her studies as an optometry student Dr. Skjolaas completed externships across the United States in primary eye care, ocular disease, low vision, pediatrics, vision therapy and contact lenses. After graduating from Indiana University Dr. Skjolaas joined a medical ophthalmology practice in Cortland, NY. She practiced there for 5 years before opening Stoughton Eye Care & Eyewear with Dr. Lindell.
In her spare time Dr. Skjolaas can be found hiking with her dog and husband, ice skating, biking and kayaking.
